Muvipro created a music video for MIKKI, a Dutch pop artist, after being approached by her management with the request to produce a story-driven visual within a short timeframe. The full project, from pre-production to final delivery, had to be completed within two weeks.
The objective was to create a music video with a clear storyline, while building the visual world around an eighties-inspired style. To achieve this, we developed a concept that used retro colour palettes, period-inspired locations, and carefully selected assets such as an old house, vintage furniture, and a classic car.
Our role covered the complete production process, from concept development and pre-production to filming, editing, colour grading, and final post-production. The video was filmed in the east of the Netherlands and fully produced in-house by Muvipro. The project was directed by Arthur de Weerdt and produced by Daniel de Weerdt.
The final result was a cinematic music video that combined a clear narrative with a nostalgic visual identity. Despite the short production timeline, the project was delivered as a complete and stylised piece that matched MIKKI’s artistic direction and gave the release a strong visual foundation.
