Karsu and her management approached us to create a narrative story around ZAMAN. Together, we developed a concept that captures the emotional contrast between the carefree innocence of young Karsu and the darkness she later faces through a complicated relationship with a man.
The story follows her gradual loss of control as she becomes trapped in a monotonous and suffocating reality, longing to return to the warmth and safety of her childhood and the comforting embrace of her mother.
Visually, this contrast is portrayed through light and color: the nostalgic, carefree moments are filmed in warm, soft tones, while the scenes reflecting struggle and entrapment are colder and darker, dominated by shades of blue.
The vocal performance is seamlessly woven into the narrative, allowing the song and visuals to merge into one cohesive and emotionally resonant story, a cinematic journey through innocence, loss, and rediscovery.
